Before & after

Getting the most from your visit

A little prep beforehand and some gentle aftercare make a real difference to how your results look and how long they last. Here's everything you need — nothing complicated.

Before your appointment

A little prep goes a long way.

Lashes & brows

  • Come with clean lashes or brows and no eye makeup — it saves time and helps the lift or tint take evenly.
  • Nothing on the brow area on the day: no moisturiser, makeup or fake tan. Anything sitting on the skin stops colour taking evenly.
  • Skip waterproof mascara for a couple of days beforehand; the residue can resist the treatment.
  • Leave the eyelash curler in the drawer the day before.
  • Wear contacts? Bring a case — you may be more comfortable with them out.
  • Having your brows shaped? Let them grow in for a week or two so there's enough to work with.

Massage

  • Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in and start relaxed.
  • Avoid a heavy meal right beforehand.
  • Let Violet know about any injuries, sore spots, or if you're pregnant, so she can tailor the pressure.
After your appointment

Look after it, and it'll look after you.

Korean lash lift & tint

  • Don't wet the lashes for at least 24 hours, and avoid steam for a full 48 — hot showers, saunas, steam rooms.
  • No eye makeup and no eyelash curlers for 24 hours.
  • As tempting as it is, don't rub your eyes or play with the shape of the lashes.
  • Try to sleep on your back that first night.
  • Avoid strong sunlight for the first 24 hours — it can soften a fresh lift.
  • Avoid oil-based cleansers and removers around the eyes — oil breaks the lift down.
  • After 48 hours, mascara's fine again (water-based, not waterproof). Brush through gently with a clean spoolie.
  • Book your next lift in around six to eight weeks.

Brow lamination

  • Keep brows dry for the first 24 hours — no water, and no washing your hair.
  • No makeup, serums or products on the brows for 24 hours.
  • Don't touch or rub them straight afterwards — the shape is still settling.
  • Avoid steam, saunas and heavy sweating for the first day or two.
  • Brush them up daily with a spoolie; a drop of nourishing oil keeps the hairs healthy.
  • Lasts around four to six weeks — re-book when they start to relax.

Brow tint

  • Keep the brows dry and makeup-free for 24 hours — no washing your hair and no swimming. The colour is still developing, and water fades it.
  • Avoid strong sunlight and UV, which fade the colour faster.
  • Go gently with cleansers for a week or two: exfoliating ones, and anything with AHAs, shorten the life of your tint. A gentle oil-free cleanser is ideal.
  • With a hybrid brow tint, the skin stain is strongest now and softens over one to two weeks — the colour on the hairs lasts longer.
  • You're welcome to have your brows tinted again every two to four weeks, whenever you'd like them topped up.

Waxing & shaping

  • A little pinkness is normal and settles within an hour or two.
  • For the first 24 hours, avoid heat, sun, swimming, saunas, exfoliation and makeup over the area.
  • Try not to touch the freshly-waxed skin, so it stays calm.

Massage

  • Drink plenty of water and take it easy for the rest of the day.
  • A warm — not hot — shower can help if you feel a little tender.

If you get any redness or irritation, hold a cool damp compress to the area. If it hasn't settled after 24 hours, please seek medical advice — and let us know.
