Brow lamination, tinting & shaping in Lilydale
Four ways to do your brows, mapped to your own bone structure rather than whatever shape is in fashion. Lamination holds them, tint gives them depth, shaping tidies the edges — and the full brow does all three.
Which one should I book?

The full brow is lamination, tint and shape in one appointment for $130 — $35 less than booking the three separately, and it's the one to start with if you've never had your brows done properly.
Brow lamination
A perm for your brows. A keratin-infused solution relaxes the hairs so they can be brushed up and set into a fuller, even, groomed shape — taming sparse, flat or unruly brows into place. Completely reversible, kind to the hair, and lasts around four to six weeks with just a morning brush-through.
What's involved
- We map the shape to your bone structure and talk about how full you want them.
- A softening lotion opens the hair so it can be moved — this is the step that lets the shape change.
- The hairs are brushed into place and set there.
- A nourishing treatment goes through to condition the hair afterwards.
- A final tidy, and a spoolie to take home.
Suits you if — Your brows are unruly, flat, or grow in different directions, and you want them to sit brushed-up and full without drawing them on every morning.
Hybrid tinting
A hybrid brow tint that works two ways at once: it colours the hairs like a classic tint and stains the skin beneath like henna, for a soft, pencilled-in fullness plain tint can't give. The skin stain lasts one to two weeks and the colour on the hairs up to six — a defined, fuller brow with no makeup, on its own or under lamination.
What's involved
- The shape is mapped and the surrounding skin prepped so the stain sits where it should.
- A hybrid of henna and dye is applied to the hairs and the skin beneath.
- It develops for a few minutes — longer for a deeper stain.
- Removed and cleaned up, with the skin stain at its strongest on the day.
Suits you if — Your brows are sparse, fair, or patchy in places — the skin stain fills the gaps between hairs in a way a plain tint cannot.
Waxing & shaping
We map your brows to your own features first — the proportions of your face, never a one-size stencil — to find the shape that genuinely suits you. Then we wax and tweeze to that line, clearing the strays and refining the arch until everything looks balanced and deliberate.
What's involved
- We map the shape to your bone structure before anything is removed.
- Wax takes the outline; tweezers do the detail.
- A soothing product goes on afterwards — a little pinkness is normal and settles within an hour or two.
Suits you if — Your brows have grown past their shape and you want them tidied properly rather than tweezed at in the bathroom mirror.
The full brow
Everything in one appointment: we map and shape first, laminate to lift and set the hairs, then tint for colour and depth. It's the complete reset — the fullest, most defined version of your own brows — and booking the three together saves you $35 over doing them separately.
What's involved
- We map the shape together and agree how full and how dark you want them.
- Lamination first — the hairs are softened, brushed into place and set.
- The tint goes on during the lamination process rather than as a separate appointment.
- Waxing and tweezing last, so the shape is cut to the brows as they now sit.
- A nourishing treatment, a brush through, and a spoolie to take home.
Suits you if — You have never had your brows done properly and want to see what they can actually look like. It is the one to start with.
Common questions
How long does brow lamination last?
Four to six weeks. They gradually relax rather than dropping all at once, so re-book when you notice them starting to sit flatter. Brushing them up daily with a spoolie and a drop of nourishing oil keeps them looking their best in the meantime.
What's a hybrid tint, and how is it different from a normal one?
A hybrid combines henna and dye, so it colours the hairs and stains the skin underneath. That skin stain is what makes sparse brows look fuller — it fills the gaps between hairs. It's strongest for the first week or two and softens from there, while the colour on the hairs holds for four to six weeks.
Will lamination make my brows look harsh?
No. It's the same idea as a lash lift — the hairs are softened, brushed into place and set there. The result is brushed-up and soft, not stiff, and it's shaped to your bone structure rather than a stencil.
Should I let my brows grow before coming in?
If you're having them shaped, yes — give them a week or two so there's enough to work with. It's much easier to take a little off than to wait for an over-tidied brow to grow back.
Can I have lamination and tint at the same appointment?
Yes, and it's the usual way to do it — the tint goes on during the lamination process rather than as a separate visit. That's what the full brow is.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
Give it 24 hours. Keep the brows dry and product-free for the first day, then go gently with exfoliating cleansers and anything with AHAs for a week or two — those shorten the life of a tint.
