Thirty minutes is enough to undo a hard week and slots neatly onto the end of a lash or brow appointment. If you've been carrying tension for a while, take the hour — it's the difference between relief and actually relaxing.
Relaxation massage — 30 min
A traditional relaxation massage — slow, flowing strokes at a gentle-to-medium pressure, meant to unwind you rather than work deep into the muscle. Thirty minutes spent where most of us carry the week: the neck, shoulders and back.
What's involved
- A quick chat about pressure, sore spots, injuries, or if you are pregnant.
- You settle in and the room is left quiet.
- Thirty minutes across the shoulders, neck and back with slow, flowing pressure.
- Time to come round afterwards — you are not hurried out.
Suits you if — Your shoulders and neck have taken the week and you want that undone, without setting aside a whole afternoon.
Relaxation massage — 1 hour
A full hour of traditional relaxation massage — the same slow, flowing pressure, with time to work the whole body from the shoulders down. Long enough to properly switch off and let the tension go. Lovely on its own, or after a lash or brow appointment.

Common questions
Is this a remedial or deep tissue massage?
No — this is traditional relaxation massage. The pressure is slow and flowing rather than clinical, and the aim is to unwind rather than to treat an injury. If you have a specific injury you need worked on, you'd be better off with a remedial therapist.
How much pressure will you use?
As much or as little as suits you, and you can say so at any point. Let Violet know beforehand about any injuries, sore spots, or if you're pregnant, so the pressure can be tailored from the start.
What should I do beforehand?
Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in rather than starting rushed, and avoid a heavy meal right before. That's it.
How will I feel afterwards?
Usually loose and a little sleepy. Drink plenty of water and take it easy for the rest of the day. If you feel slightly tender the next morning that's normal — a warm, not hot, shower helps.
Can I book a massage with a lash or brow appointment?
Yes, and it's a lovely way to do it — lashes or brows first, then the massage while everything settles. Give us a call and we'll arrange the two together.
